Detox Day 5
Upon Waking (7:00 AM)
Large glass of filtered water with cucumber slices (in the water) and a dash of cayenne
Breakfast (8:00 AM)
Decaf Peachy Green Tea Smoothie (SKINNY DISH, page 47):
This smoothie makes about 4 (1-cup) servings–enjoy 2 cups if you want!
Frozen peaches (omit ice) or TJ’s Yellow Cling Peach Halves can be used if fresh peaches aren’t available.
Morning Snack (10:00 AM)
Herbal tea, 1 organic green apple
1 Hour Later (11:00 AM)
Large glass of filtered water with cucumber slices (in the water)
Lunch (12:00 PM)
Kaleidoscope Bean Salad (SKINNY DISH, page 116)
Enjoy 2 servings or have with gluten-free crackers if still hungry.
Mid-Afternoon Snack (2:00 PM)
Large glass of filtered water with lemon wedge
Carrot slices (or other sliced veggies) with TJ’s Goddess Dressing or other non-dairy, creamy dressing (such as Tahini Dressing in SKINNY DISH!)
Pre-Dinner Snack (4:00 PM)
Herbal tea; 1/4 cup raw cashews
Dinner (6:00 PM)
Large green salad with veggies of choice, sliced tempeh cubes (at least 1/2 the block), and rice vinegar
1 cup cooked brown rice
Before Bed (8:00 PM)
Chamomile or other herbal tea
